Stratford-on-Avon Rat zusammen mit Stratford-upon-Avon Stadtverwaltung einen neuen Projektmanager zu Shakespeares Geburtstagsfeier als international anerkanntes Ereignis in Stratford-upon-Avon zu entwickeln ernannt, der breitere District und in der ganzen Welt.
Heute, Mittwoch 8 Januar, Val Harris has been appointed to this role. Val will be looking to secure funding and sponsorship for the Birthday Celebrations to take the pressure off the public purse and develop the event for the future, die weitere Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern zusammenarbeiten,.
Cllr Maurice Howse, Unternehmen, Gehäuse und Umsatz Portfolio sagt: “The forthcoming Shakespeare celebrations are of worldwide significance and will put Stratford-upon-Avon firmly in the spotlight and as such need special attention. This is a new approach with the opportunity to expand the Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebration programme without burdening the local taxpayer, durch Erzeugung von Sponsoring und anderen Finanzierungsquellen.”
Cllr Diane Walden, Bürgermeister von Stratford-upon-Avon Stadtverwaltung sagt,: "Dies ist ein neues Zeitalter voran für die Geburtstagsfeier, Suche auf bisherigen Erfolg aufzubauen.”
Eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben der Aufgabe wird es sein, ein "Freunde der Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations erstellen’ Schema - finanziell zu unterstützen und auch Freiwillige mit Menschen Mitmachen auf zukünftige Märkte zu sichern.
