Laugardagur 26 Apríl 2014 - Procession & Flag Unfurling Athöfn

Þúsundir manna eru gert ráð fyrir að meðfram götum í Stratford-upon-Avon miðbæ til að sjá Shakespeare er 450^th Afmæli Hátíðahöld Procession sem mun yfirgefa Great Garden í New Place í Chapel Lane á 10:30am á laugardaginn 26 Apríl.

The Band of the West Midlands slökkviliðs mun leiða procession á leiðinni niður Chapel Lane, framhjá Royal Shakespeare Theatre, meðfram Waterside, og í Bridge Street. Once everyone is in position, the ceremony of Handing Over The Quill will take place, fánar verða unfurled, bugles mun spila, balloons will be released and the Band of the West Midlands Fire Service will lead everyone in singing Happy Birthday to the Bard.

The mörg börn sem taka þátt munu fylgja Band á Air Training Corps eins og þeir eru leitt til Holy Trinity Church með Vicar, Patrick Taylor, gerð þeirra vegur í gegnum High Street, Chapel Street, Church Street og Old Town. They will await the arrival of the main Procession which will end at Shakespeare’s grave by the altar of Holy Trinity Church where the Vicar and his assistants will receive the many flowers brought by people in the procession to commemorate and add colour to this auspicious and memorable celebration.

Pílagrímsferð til Holy Trinity and the laying of flowers takes place whilst the Community Pageant gets in to full swing. The Pageant precedes the street entertainment and leikhús verkstæði sem eiga sér stað um allan eftirmiðdaginn.
