Samstag 26 April 2014 - Prozession & Flagge Unfurling Verleihung
Tausende von Menschen werden erwartet, um die Straßen in Stratford-upon-Avon Stadtzentrum säumen, um die Shakespeare sehen 450th Geburtstagsfeier Prozession, die den Großen Garten von New Place in Chapel Lane verlassen wird bei 10:30bin am Samstag 26 April.
Die Band der West Midlands Fire Service wird die Prozession auf seinem Weg nach unten Chapel Lane führen, der Royal Shakespeare Theatre Vergangenheit, entlang Waterside, und in der Bridge Street. Once everyone is in position, the ceremony of Handing Over The Quill will take place, Fahnen entrollt werden, Trompeten spielen, balloons will be released and the Band of the West Midlands Fire Service will lead everyone in singing Happy Birthday to the Bard.
Die vielen Kinder, die an den Band des Air Training Corps folgen, wie sie geführt werden Holy Trinity Church durch den Vikar, Patrick Taylor, , die ihren Weg über High Street, Chapel Street, Church Street und die Altstadt. They will await the arrival of the main Procession which will end at Shakespeare’s grave by the altar of Holy Trinity Church where the Vicar and his assistants will receive the many flowers brought by people in the procession to commemorate and add colour to this auspicious and memorable celebration.
Die Wallfahrt nach Heilige Dreifaltigkeit and the laying of flowers takes place whilst the Community Pageant gets in to full swing. The Pageant precedes the street entertainment and Theater-Workshops , die den ganzen Nachmittag stattfinden.
